Suicide note

A suicide note was a message, usually a written note, left by someone who later would attempt or commit suicide, usually explaining the reason for the suicide.

In 2377, when Icheb was in a discussion about saving Seven of Nine, The Doctor suspected that it may be a suicide note. (VOY: "Imperfection")
