Stinger (character)

Stinger was a giant mosquito who was a character in The Adventures of Flotter children's holonovel series.

When Kathryn Janeway was six years old, she played a Flotter story where Flotter claimed there was an upcoming dry spell. She suggested diverting the river, which turned the Forest of Forever into a swamp and caused Stinger to hatch. She related this to Neelix in 2375. (VOY: "Once Upon a Time")
