Steve Posey
Stephen L. "Steve" Posey (born 16 February 1949; age 76) directed four seventh season episodes of Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.
Posey also directed episodes of other popular science fiction series, such as Babylon 5, Xena: Warrior Princess, Hercules: The Legendary Journeys, Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Space: Above and Beyond and Dark Skies. Posey also directed episodes of Tour of Duty and The Young Riders.
He began his career as a lighting technician and then cinematographer, frequently working with exploitation film director Danny Steinmann, with their shared credits including The Unseen (1981), Savage Streets (1984), and Friday the 13th Part V: A New Beginning (1985, with Tom Morga, Richard Lineback, and Todd Bryant). Later in the decade Posey moved into television, alternating work as a cinematographer and director, before focusing exclusively on the latter.
