Referenced in the first draft script of the Star Trek: Enterprise first season episode "The Andorian Incident" (which had the working title "Incident at P'Jem"), the Starfleet Ranger School was a Starfleet institution situated in Atlanta. It was attended by Hoshi Sato, who was cleared, there, for class 3 pulse rifles.
