Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home was the first of two LaserDisc releases of Star Trek IV: The Voyage Home. The second was the director's series release.

Releases

Originally released in the pan and scan format for US in 1986 and for Japan in 1988 and 1991; this film was only released as a standalone in the widescreen format in 1991 in the US and 1996 in France. Widescreen versions were included in the late 1995 US box set Star Trek - The Movie Voyages and the 1996 European box set Star Trek - The Screen Voyages.
