Star Trek/Star Trek Into Darkness (DVD)

Star Trek/Star Trek Into Darkness, subtitled Star Trek Two Movie Set, is a DVD double pack that includes the films Star Trek and Star Trek Into Darkness.

First released in 2013, as a hardboard slipcase in which the two regular single-disc plastic snapcase releases of both films were collected, it was re-released a year later in the UK in slimline packaging as a single two-disc plastic snapcase within a cardboard slip-over sleeve.

Two years later, in 2016, a first-time Region 1 edition was released under the "Star Trek 2-Movie Collection" subtitle on the occasion of Star Trek's 50th anniversary, and as a retailer exclusive came packaged with a Hot Wheels miniature of the alternate reality Enterprise. It was intended as the Region 1 DVD counterpart for the 2016 re-issue of the Star Trek: The Compendium Blu-ray release, in effect the much superior version of this release's Blu-ray counterpart. The regions 2 and 4 DVD releases had actually already served as such for the Compendium's original 2014 release.
