Star Trek: The Magazine Test Issue 1 was a limited release magazine, test-marketing Star Trek: The Magazine in Columbus, Ohio, and Seattle, Washington in November 1998.

Its content was structured similarly to what would become the widely available Star Trek: The Magazine Volume 1, Issue 1 (which would also be labeled the premiere issue) in May 1999, with the exception of a Klingon Bird-of-Prey on the cover instead of a Borg drone.
