Springball player

A springball player was an athlete, a player in the sport of springball.

While visiting Deep Space 9 in 2372, Sarish Rez spotted the Bajoran Vedek Tonsa, who he had heard was "an excellent springball player." Kira Nerys agreed, boasting that he was "the best on the station," before Sarish decided to see if they could arrange a game together. (DS9: "Crossfire")
