Speeder

A speeder, such as a hover speeder, was a type of recreational vehicle that either operated as a ground vehicle, or could hover just above the ground. They were built for speed, allowing them to reach incredible velocities.

In 2401, Sidney La Forge admitted to her father, Geordi La Forge that the reason she crashed so many speeders in the past was so that she could spend time with him repairing them. (PIC: "The Bounty")
