Species reassignment protocol

A species reassignment protocol was a type of advanced cosmetic surgery aimed at changing the apparent species of its subject.

During the first Federation-Klingon War, the Klingon House of Mo'Kai used a species reassignment protocol called choH'a' which was specifically designed to infiltrate classified Starfleet intelligence. (DIS: "The War Without, The War Within")
