A snowplow

A snowplow was a device used on Earth which was mounted on land vehicles to allow them to collect and remove snow and ice.

In the year 2000, when Shannon O'Donnel arrived in the town of Portage Creek the streets of the city were freshly snow plowed, so as to allow traffic to flow better. (VOY: "11:59")

In 2153, a wheeled vehicle using a snowplow cleared the area in the base camp of the A-6 excavation team in the Arctic Circle on Earth. (ENT: "Regeneration")
