Slope

A slope was the gradation of an incline, measured in degrees.

In 2370, Doctor Julian Bashir changed the maximum vertical clearance of Melora Pazlar's wheelchair by three centimeters, giving it a slope of 56 degrees. Miles O'Brien noted that she would still be unable to access much of Deep Space 9, modifications aside. (DS9: "Melora")
