Skye Dent (born 4 February 1970; age 55) wrote the teleplay for the Star Trek: Voyager first season episode "Phage", in which she introduces the Vidiians.

Biography

Dent was born in Boston, Massachusetts. She is the daughter of a Central American mother and a father of African-American and Cherokee heritage, who met in New Orleans. She has been a journalist with the Associated Press and CBS.

Dent's other non-Trek scripts include The Burning Zone and For Reel, and she has written and directed a number of TV commercials.
