Skiing season

The skiing season was the time of year when skiing was most viable.

In 2266, Hikaru Sulu jokingly asked if there was any possibility of beaming back up to USS Enterprise before skiing season began on Alfa 177 as the surface temperature was dropping rapidly. (TOS: "The Enemy Within")
