Medical practitioners

These three medical practitioners worked in the Sisters of Hope Infirmary in San Francisco in 1893 while the away team from the USS Enterprise-D investigated the actions of the Devidians. (TNG: "Time's Arrow, Part II")

Patient

San Francisco male patient

A male patient

This Asian male patient was among the ill being held at the infirmary.

Deanna Troi had spoken to the patient, later indicating that "this man was complaining about a strange doctor and nurse who visited that patient." They later discovered that aliens from Devidia II, who were in disguise as a doctor and a nurse in question, were stealing neural energy from cholera patients. When they attempted to confront the pair, a fight ensued, and the patient witnessed phaser fire and watched the two aliens disappear.

A young reporter who investigated the ruckus, told Samuel Clemens that one of the patients saw two people vanish into thin air, but the police denied it. (TNG: "Time's Arrow, Part II")

The male patient was played by Bill Cho Lee.
His speaking lines were cut from the episode, which included a conversation with Troi about a deceased friend who had no family that was visited by a doctor and nurse; the doctor he described as a "very bad doctor", explaining that "Only spent time with one man. I ask for water... he ignore me. Others cry in pain... doctor does not care. (shakes his head) Very bad."
