Shrew

Shrew was a term used on Earth in the 20th century to describe an argumentative woman.

In 1944, Faith Garland wondered if the alien Quark might be the mother in Rom and Nog's family. Jeff took note of Quark's bad mood and concluded that if Quark was the mother, she was "quite a shrew". (DS9: "Little Green Men")
