Shill

A shill was a person who pretended to be excited about gambling to encourage suckers to try it.

In 2375, Frankie Eyes was surprised when Vic Fontaine offered to attract customers to what was formerly his and then Frankie's establishment, saying, "You want to be my shill?" (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
