Sherman Augustus
Sherman Augustus (born 10 January 1959; age 66) is a former NFL player turn actor who played Hij'qa in the Star Trek: Voyager sixth season episode "Barge of the Dead".
Augustus had a recurring role as Detective Hank Weber on the television soap opera The Young and the Restless. Prior to that he appeared in the short-lived 1996 series Profit, co-starring fellow Star Trek actors Jack Gwaltney, Jennifer Hetrick and Keith Szarabajka. He has also made guest appearances on Murder, She Wrote (1993, with Allan Miller, Phil Morris and William Windom), The Nanny (starring Daniel Davis), three episodes of Chicago Hope, NYPD Blue (starring Gordon Clapp), Touched by an Angel, Philly (2001, starring Ron Canada, with Jim Beaver, Bill Cobbs, John Cothran, Jr., Alan Dale, Michael Durrell, Deborah Lacey and Kristanna S. Loken), Without a Trace (starring Enrique Murciano, in an episode with Juliana Donald, Daniel Dae Kim, Jennifer Savidge and Maury Sterling), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, and NCIS.
Augustus had roles in the science fiction films Digital Man (1995, co-starring Clint Howard, Ed Lauter and Chase Masterson), Space Marines (1996, with Meg Foster and Michael Bailey Smith), and Virus (1999, starring Jamie Lee Curtis) and in Rumpelstiltskin (1996, starring Max Grodénchik). His later film credits include Bread and Roses (2000), The Mexican (2001), Zig Zag (2002, starring Wesley Snipes, with Michael Greyeyes), and Three (2006).
