Semere Yohannes is an actor and musician who appeared as an Akritirian prisoner in the Star Trek: Voyager third season episode "The Chute". Yohannes describes his Star Trek role as "Prisoner of Aquarius". [1]

Yohannes appeared as "Russel Brand", street reporter, in several episodes of the talk/comedy show The Eric Andre Show where he appeared in episodes between 2012 and 2020. He also appeared in the television special The Eric Andre New Year's Eve Spooktacular (2012). [2]

Other acting work include episodes of Outsourced (2010-2011, with Diedrich Bader), Cold Case, The Chris Eliot Show, Pitiful Creatures (2015), and Bull. In 1997, he appeared in Janet Jackson's music video Together Again.

Film work include The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen (2003), the short film Blessing (2004), Little Fockers (2010, with Jack Axelrod, Trula M.
