Sector 142

Sector 142 was a spatial region in the Beta Quadrant. A section of the Federation-Romulan border was located in this sector.

In 2365, three Federation starship USS Yuri Gagarin was patrolling the Neutral Zone. This sector was listed in the Starship Deploy Status chart that was on display in the courtroom of Starbase 173. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man", okudagram)

This sector was only mentioned in writing.
This sector's quadrant of origin was inferred from it containing a section of the Federation-Romulan border. This border was identified as being located in the Beta Quadrant in the Star Trek: Picard episode "The Impossible Box".
