Second Nature is a Star Trek: Seekers novel – the first novel in the series – written by David Mack. Published by Pocket Books, it was first released in July 2014.
The novel forms a two-part story with Point of Divergence.

- An old foe: The crew of the Sagittarius wants to save the Tomol from their cycle of self-destruction, but first they'll need to save themselves – from the most nefarious Klingon starship commander in history.
