Sanctity of life

The sanctity of life was the theological or philosophical understanding that all Human life had an inherent dignity, worth, and sacredness that had set it apart from all other beings within the world.

In 2367, while having an argument, Lwaxana Troi said to Timicin that he had made a statement about the sanctity of life, and it would be heard. (TNG: "Half a Life")
