Sample case

A sample case was a container in which samples were stored, either for sale or collection.

In 2371, Odo asked Retaya if the container he had was his (perfume) sample case, which the Flaxian confirmed. (DS9: "Improbable Cause")

In 2373, Neelix had packed sample cases to retrieve gallicite. (VOY: "Blood Fever")
