Sagittal section

The sagittal section was a division of the body by medical practitioners into right and left halves.

In 2370, in "Anatomical Scan – 9861", information from a sagittal section of the brain of Juliana Tainer was indicated, with parts of the brain listed. (TNG: "Inheritance")
