Ronald "Ron" T. Dempsey is an assistant director who worked as DGA Trainee on Star Trek: The Next Generation and as second second assistant director on Star Trek: Deep Space Nine.

Dempsey also worked as DGA Trainee on Coach, Reasonable Doubts, Doogie Howser, M.D. (1991-92), and Dr. Quinn, Medicine Woman and on Hocus Pocus (1993).
