Rob Coleman (born 27 April 1964; age 61) is an award-winning Canadian visual effects artist at Industrial Light & Magic who was one of ILM's Visual Effects Animators on Star Trek Generations. He currently serves as the creative director at the company.

He is better known for supervising award-winning visual effects on Star Wars franchise, the latter in which he oversaw the creation of the Jar-Jar Binks and Yoda characters for George Lucas' Prequel trilogy and which the effects were supervised under John Knoll.

One of his first computer animation credits was for the syndicated TV series Captain Power and the Soldiers of the Future. Additional animating credits include: The Mask (1994), In the Mouth of Madness (1994), Dragonheart (1996) and Men in Black (for which he was part of the BAFTA winning effects crew).

Coleman's animation supervising and direction credits include: Signs (2002) and Happy Feet Two (2011). He later founded the Animal Logic company to provide and oversee effects for animated feature films including many of the Lego animated films.
