Ritual cloak

A ritual cloak was a type of cloak worn during a ritual such as a wedding.

In 2268, tradition among the Amerind inhabitants dictated that Tribal Priestess Miramanee and Medicine Chief Salish were to be married. However, when Salish mentioned that Miramanee should have been working on the couple's ritual cloak instead of seeing to the needs of an amnesiac James T. Kirk, Miramanee rebuffed him, stating that she was doing her duty as Kirk was perceived as their god. And because Kirk had become the new medicine chief after saving the life of a boy, Miramanee would no longer be marrying Salish.

Later, Miramanee revealed to Kirk, now going by the name of Kirok, that their ritual cloak was finished and she wanted to name their joining day as long as it pleased him. (TOS: "The Paradise Syndrome")
