Reputation

Reputation was the general opinion or judgment of the public about a person or thing.

In 2365, while having a discussion about giving Kyle Riker a career, Deanna Troi went through his knowledge and Riker said he may have something of a reputation for excellence, which Troi concluded that he had false humility. (TNG: "The Icarus Factor")

In 2371, Kimara Cretak noted to Kira Nerys that her people, the Romulans, had a reputation for arrogance, one she was afraid well-earned. (DS9: "Image in the Sand")
