Repairman

A repairman was a skilled worker whose job was to repair things that would get broken or damaged.

In 2268, Hodin referred to Montgomery Scott as "your very excitable repairman", suggesting that beaming someone down using USS Enterprise's transporters would test (prove) Scott's skill. (TOS: "The Mark of Gideon")

In 2370, Alixus asserted that fellow Orellius system colonist Joseph would have been a repairman all his life had he not settled there. (DS9: "Paradise")

In 2374, when Jadzia Dax was sent to repair the replicators in Quark's, as she owed Nog a favor, Quark was disgusted by the thought of what she was doing, stating, "but that's work for a mechanic, a repairman, a lowly engineer." Dax retorted that "I'll tell Chief O'Brien you said that." (DS9: "Valiant")
