Relativistic speed

Relativistic speeds were speeds comparable to the speed of light.

In 2366 on stardate 43125.8, the USS Enterprise-D entered an unnamed binary star system in the Kavis Alpha sector on a critical mission of astrophysical research. Doctor Paul Stubbs was to attempt to study the decay of neutronium expelled at relativistic speeds from a massive stellar explosion. (TNG: "Evolution")
