A regulatory system was a system in one's body that regulated responses to stimuli and levels of biochemical substances.

In 2373, The Doctor was concerned about Ensign Vorik's unstable cortical readings, saying it seemed as though the regulatory systems of the Vulcan's brain had shut down. (VOY: "Blood Fever")
