Rectal insectoid

Rectal insectoids were a species of parasitic insectoids that apparently entered the humanoid body through the rear end, or perhaps nested there.

While en route to Tulgana IV on one of the USS Cerritos' shuttles, Ensign Beckett Mariner and K'orin were talking about rectal insectoids; among other things, to the annoyance of Ensign Brad Boimler. (LD: "Envoys")

Parasitic beings were incorrectly referred to as "butt bugs" by the recruiters of a conspiracy theory booth on Tulgana IV. (LD: "Reflections")
