Ni'Var Razors come to the aid of Federation Headquarters (3189)

The Razor was a class of small starship used by the inhabitants of Ni'Var in the late 32nd century.

In 3189, after Ni'Var received Commander Michael Burnham's distress call, the government sent several Razors to Federation Headquarters. These ships arrived just as the USS Discovery-A, under the command of Emerald Chain leader Osyraa, was attempting to leave the distortion field surrounding the headquarters station. After Fleet Admiral Charles Vance reluctantly agreed to Burnham's request to let the Discovery-A go, the Razors backed off and became part of a pursuit fleet that included larger Federation ships.
