Raymond King
Raymond C. King is an effects artist who worked as a lighting technical director on Star Trek: The Original Series - Remastered as part of CBS Digital.
King has provided effects for motion pictures since the late 1990s. He created computer special effects for the films Tin Cup (featuring Richard Lineback), Space Jam (1996, featuring Brad William Henke), and Starship Troopers (1997, starring Dina Meyer and Clancy Brown), after which he began working at Walt Disney Studios. While at Disney, King worked on special and digital effects for several animated feature-length productions, including Recess: School's Out (featuring the voices of Diedrich Bader, Clancy Brown, Ron Glass, Tony Jay, Clyde Kusatsu, and Andrea Martin), The Tigger Movie (with the voice of John Fiedler), and The Little Mermaid II: Return to the Sea (2000, with the voices of René Auberjonois, Clancy Brown, Kenneth Mars, and Frank Welker).
More recently, King was a digital effects artist on the films Bulletproof Monk, Van Helsing (2004), The Chronicles of Riddick (2004, featuring Karl Urban and Roger R. Cross), Ladder 49 (2004), and Sky High (2005), on which he was the lighting technical supervisor for Asylum VFX.
