Radiothermic interference

Radiothermic interference is interference caused by energy sources, that interfere with sensors and communications. A modified dampening field can cut through the interference.

As of 2372, there was intense radiothermic interference on Kazon-Ogla training moon of Tarok, due to the presence of several subterranean weapons systems and force field generators. (VOY: "Initiations")
