Quadric field theory

The quadric field theory was an algebraic concept used in the creation of resonance fields, particularly in Borg cubes.

In 2376, Seven of Nine claimed that First's understanding of quadric field theory was flawed, after he observed that her data was flawed following the collapse of the ship's resonance field. (VOY: "Collective")
