Public appearance

A public appearance was an event where an individual spoke and/or met with members of the public.

In 2372, Sarish Rez rebuffed Odo's assertion that Shakaar Edon should have been taken off the podium the moment they were made aware of an assassination threat against him. Rez felt that Shakaar would never leave his office if he cancelled his public appearances every time there was a threat to him. (DS9: "Crossfire")

Later that year, Kira Nerys assured Odo she would never miss supposed Emissary of the Prophets Akorem Laan's first public appearance. (DS9: "Accession")
