Pork pie

A pork pie was a type of hat that was popularized on Earth through the 19th and early 20th centuries.

In 2381, when trying to figure out why Ensign Beckett Mariner was hallucinating Jennifer Sh'reyan as a werewolf wearing a fedora, she mentioned that Lieutenant Steve Levy had been mansplaining the difference between a pork pie and a fedora. (LD: "Mining The Mind's Mines")
