A pole arm was a type of hand-held weapon.

In 2380, Lieutenant Commander Andy Billups seemingly used a kind of pole arm when he was locked in combat with a Pakled aboard the USS Cerritos. (LD: "No Small Parts")

In 2381, multiple Pakleds on Pakled Planet wielded bladed pole arms that resembled their broadswords, albeit with longer handles. (LD: "The Spy Humongous")

During the late 32nd century, the Trill utilized a form of pole arm. When activated, the blade became charged with energy. (DIS: "Forget Me Not")
