Pointer fault

A pointer fault was a type of software error.

In 2375, upon an abrupt change in the holoprogram Bashir 62, Miles O'Brien suggested there might be a pointer fault in the holosuite's parameter file. (DS9: "Badda-Bing, Badda-Bang")
