Plating team

A plating team was a group of personnel responsible for installing a starship's hull plating.

While inspecting Enterprise NX-01 aboard Orbital 6 in 2151, Commander Tucker reported that the ventral plating team would be finished in about three days. Captain Archer then ordered him to make sure the plating team would match the plating's color to the nacelle housings. (ENT: "Broken Bow")
