Personnel check

A personnel check was an examination of the personnel assigned to a given location or mission.

In 2267, Spock ran a personnel check on the Gamma Hydra IV science colony prior to beaming down to the planet. The information gleaned from this check caused the Vulcan to doubt that Alvin had died of old age, as none of the personnel assigned to Gamma Hydra IV were old enough for such a cause of death.
