Perseids

The Perseids was a meteor storm seen in the night sky of Earth.

In the 23rd century, Gabriel Lorca and Katrina Cornwell "killed" a bottle of Scotch whiskey when they watched the Perseids. (DIS: "Lethe")

The Perseids is an annual meteor shower which appears in the second week of August. This storm derives its name from the Perseus constellation, from which it appeared to originate.
In AT: "Si Vis Pacem, Para Bellum", Jayne Brook recalled this scene, and claimed that they watched it in Iowa. In the episode no location was given.
