Perimeter fence

The perimeter fence was a type of fence found at the salvage yard of Hunhau. This fence was a proprietary product of the Emerald Chain, an Andorian/Orion syndicate led by Osyraa.

The entire fencing system consisted of perimeter pylons which were connected to one another by laser wires. Control of the system was by a hand-held controller, which was kept in a breast pocket of the yard superintendent Tolor. The controller activated and deactivated the fence.

The fence worked in tandem with an explosive device placed in the necks of workers. When a worker encountered the wires, they were decapitated.

In 3189, after an upgrade to the fence, Lai, a worker accused of stealing, was sent running into the fence. The test was successful. Later that day, Tolor lost the controller to Philippa Georgiou, who immediately deactivated the fence. This allowed workers to escape to a transport ship. (DIS: "Scavengers")
