Pentarus system

The Pentarus system was an inhabited planetary system that was located somewhere in the Alpha or Beta Quadrant.

Stellar system

This was a single star system with a dwarf star primary.

Planetary system

There were at least five planets. The system's habitable zone included the two class M worlds Pentarus II and Pentarus V; the latter of which was colonized by salenite miners. Furthermore, four moons in this system were capable of supporting life. One of these moons, Lambda Paz, was a satellite of Pentarus III. (TNG: "Final Mission")

In 2371, the location of Pentarus was labeled in the star chart Data and Picard were studying in stellar cartography aboard the USS Enterprise-D. (Star Trek Generations, okudagram)
