Pejuta

Pejuta was a beverage that could be served hot or cold, with lemon sometimes being added.

When B'Elanna Torres had a conflict with Lieutenant Joe Carey in 2371, Chakotay recommended that Torres bond with Carey over a cup of hot pejuta. (VOY: "Parallax")

Ensign Michael Parsons enjoyed drinking hot pejuta with lemon. However, on one occasion in 2371, he had a cold pejuta without lemon. (VOY: "Cathexis")

Pejuta sapa is a Lakota word for coffee. [1]
