A ped zone was a zone restricted to pedestrians.

In San Francisco Sanctuary District A in 2024, a sign indicated that one part of the district was a ped zone, and that quadcycles were prohibited by San Francisco Police Department ordinance. (DS9: "Past Tense, Part II")
