Parsnip

The parsnip was a vegetable from Earth, related to the carrot.

In 2373, the Jupiter Station Diagnostic Program Alpha-11, in its physical form of Lewis Zimmerman, claimed that if the EMH did not either undergo a full maintenance at McKinley Station or be re-initialized, it would eventually possess the intellectual capacity of a parsnip. (VOY: "The Swarm")
