Omnipotence

Omnipotence was the quality of having great or unlimited power.

The Q were thought to be omnipotent, but individuals like Q, who visited the USS Voyager after they rescued him from his comet prison, insisted they were not. He suggested that the Q Continuum wanted others to believe they were omnipotent, but it was similar in concept to the gap between the crew of the Voyager and lifeforms that didn't have such technical expertise. In 2372, when Q intruded upon his privacy, Lieutenant Tuvok wondered if an absence of manners was always a feature of the species, or whether it was due to the evolutionary process resulting from omnipotence. (VOY: "Death Wish")

In 2378, Neelix suggested to Captain Kathryn Janeway that while Q Junior was omnipotent, he was still a young man in need of guidance. Neelix, who was good with children, volunteered to be a mentor and approach Q Junior as a friend. (VOY: "Q2")
