Obituary column

An obituary column was a section of a newspaper where obituaries were printed.

In 2374, Vic Fontaine introduced Lola Chrystal by saying if she didn't raise audience members' temperature (turn them on), they ought to check the obituary column, because their name was probably in it – that is, they were probably dead. (DS9: "His Way")
